LED awnings with many benefits
An awning with LEDs should primarily provide light, so that you can also still linger on the patio or balcony late in the evening. The pleasant warm-white light ensures a relaxed and cosy atmosphere (approx. 3,000 K) for our LED models. Moreover, in addition to this, our LED spotlights are also very energy-saving thanks to their innovative technology. You are therefore provided with as much light as from a 20-watt halogen spotlight, but use 85% less energy. Furthermore, with several thousand hours, they have an incredibly long operating life.
The awning lighting can be controlled comfortably. The weinor BiConnect or Somfy io homecontrol remote control ensure that you can always switch the light on and off as well as being able to dim it. You can select from a variety of colour shades for the RGB strip LED bar. All further LED models offer exclusively warm-white light. The colours can be adjusted using the weinor BiConnect control unit hand transmitter..
With the Somfy control system, the warm-white light can be dimmed via a hand transmitter.

Can existing awnings be retrofitted with LED lighting?
If you would like to retrofit awning lighting, this is unproblematic. The weinor awnings I/K, Semina, Cassita II and Topas can also be retrofitted with LED lighting as a light bar. Moreover, we offer you the RGB strip LED bar, which can also be installed after completion of the awning construction, e g. on the wall. How is the LED lighting protected against rain?
Electricity and water aren’t the best of friends. That is common knowledge. Nonetheless, you can safely enjoy your LED awning lighting in the fresh air.
