German manufacturer Weinor was proud to be back at the British Blind & Shutter Association Show, the UK trade fair for internal and external shading solutions. From 27 to 29 October 2024, the UK team from presented a selection of its sun and weather protection solutions to an enthusiastic and focused trade audience. The specifically designed 63 m² exhibition space was very popular with existing and potential new customers alike.
Weinor, the market leader in Northern Europe for sun and weather protection for outdoor living, has been successfully active in the British market for 50 years with its own dealer network. On display at the exhibition was a selection of high-quality and modular pergola systems and folding arm awnings.
Louvred roof at the centre of interest
Visitor interest focused on the modular, expandable Artares louvred roof with impressive features such as coloured LED lighting and retractable screens. The already successful system is suitable for both free standing and wall mounting applications. The Plaza Viva pergola awning with the brand new solar powered extendable Valance Plus option and a selection of both traditional and cubic shaped cassette awnings (all including integrated LED lights) were presented to demonstrate the variety in high quality solutions available.
Weinor also played to one of their many strengths by showing every product on the stand in a different frame colour – demonstrating the fact that there are 56 frame colours available as standard for the entire product range.
Lots of positive feedback
In addition to both the UK sales and technical team representatives of the Cologne management were also in attendance. ‘We received a lot of positive feedback for the fact that our brand was once again represented in the UK as one of the leading suppliers,’ reports Marc Hilgenstock, Sales Director Export. ‘Taking part in the trade fair was the right decision in the current highly competitive UK market.’ This was demonstrated by the strong response from both existing and potential new customers.
