In principle, the BiConnect Box should be compatible with all application platforms (i.e. Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and more). However, this also depends on the implementation by the respective platform providers and also on the Smart Home hub used. Therefore, it is mandatory that the Smart Home hub used supports the BiConnect Box.
-
Only the functions are supported which meet the BiConnect specifications. Moreover, the supported functions on the respective application platforms (Apple, Google, Amazon, Samsung, etc.) depend on the actual implementation of the specifications by the platform providers. The functions intended in the BiConnect specifications are not always all implemented by all platform providers.
-
Although this is desirable, there will probably practically be minor differences in the implementation of the specifications by the respective application platforms (Apple, Google, Amazon, Samsung, etc.). The functions intended in the specifications are not always all implemented to the same extent by all platform providers.
